| Four passengers in the car were reported died in the accident in Mullaithivu- Paranthan road, Murasumottai |
A fatal accident involving a car and a bus on Mullaithivu- Paranthan road in Murasumottail took lives of four passengers in the car today evening. One individual was admitted with critical injuries at the Kilinochchi hospital.
The four victims who were admitted to hospital were pronounced dead on the admission.
According to police, the speeding car tried to overtake the bus and veered off- losing the control following a collision with the bus. The victims are aged between 30-34 and reported to be from Viswamadhu.
