| Late TULF leader A. Amirthalingam |
A special memorial lecture marking the 99th birth anniversary of the late Tamil United Liberation Front (TULF) secretary general Appapillai Amirthalingam will take place this Saturday (29th) at 4 PM at the Jaffna Public Library Auditorium.
Organized by the Amirthalingam Memorial Trust, the event will feature a keynote address by Dr. Jehan Perera, Executive Director of the National Peace Council, on "Amirthalingam’s Legacy and Sri Lanka’s Democratic Choices for a Shared future.".
The meeting will be chaired by former MP and PLOTE leader Dharmalingam Sitharthan, with special addresses by University of Jaffna Law Head Kosalai Madhan ( Amirthalingam and the 13 amendnent)and veteran journalist Veeragathy Thanabalasingham.
