The tombstone of late Tamil leader and founder of Ilankai Thailand Arasu Katchchi (ITAK)S.J.V. Selvanayaham was found to be damaged by unknown persons last night.
The final resting place located in the private property in Thellipalai was renovated in 2012 after the region was released for civilian use by military.
Thellipalai police is doing further investigations over the incident.
