The sixth annual research conference organized by Faculty of Arts on undergraduate degree programmes to commence tomorrow (September 11) at 9.00 am at Kailasapathy auditorium.
The conference is organized under the theme of ‘Creating new perspectives: undergraduate researches on meaningful change’ and Vice Chancellor of the university Prof T. Velnambi is to take part as chief guest. The conference will be presided over by Head of Arts Faculty Prof. N. Pratheeparajah.
Senior lecturer of Computer Science Faculty Dr E. Y. A. Charles is to deliver a key note address as well.
The conference is to feature the research skills of undergraduate students, revealing their thinking and intellectual contribution during their studies in the university.
Students will be able to learn and share knowledge they gained during the studies and will be further subjected to critiques by experts and fellow senior academic professionals.
At the end of the conference, summaries of research studies that were carried out also to be released as a booklet as well.
