Court to hear Kurukkalmadam mass grave case on Nov 17

Kaluwanchikudi Magistrate Court fixed the date to hear Gurukkalmadam mass grave site on November 17 where all stakeholders involved in the case are directed to appear in the Court.

Earlier this week, the case related to the Gurukkalmadam mass grave was taken up for hearing at the Kaluwanchikudi Magistrate’s Court  be4fore Judge T. Pradeepan.

Lawyers S.H.M. Manardeen and Mubarak Muazzam representing Voices Movement, appeared on behalf of the affected people including those relatives of enforced missing persons. 

Considering the delays in secure adequate funding to commence excavation activities at Gurukkalmadam burial ground, the Magistrate ordered all the parties involved in the case to appear before the court on November 17, said lawyer S.H.M. Manardeen. (Theva Athiran)
