A dead Sea cow was found in Mannar South beach area today afternoon, according to locals.
The sea cow is estimated do eight years old weighting over 300 kilograms and 2.5 meters long.
According to local fisheries officials, the sea animal could have collided with fishing boat at mid sea. Further investigations are underway by officials. (Northeastern Monitor/ September 20/2025)
